Vintage Match Holder Spoon

Requires 1 Ball Size 30 Cotton and an egg beater.
Center of Spoon
1st Row-Tie thread close to handle, ch 5, sl st around wire, ch 5, 1 sl st around wire, continue around. Make 6 rows same as 1st row, using a sl st in center of each ch.
8th Row-Ch 4, 1 sl st in center.
9th Row-Same.
10th Row-Ch 3, 1 sl st in center.
11th Row-Same.
12th Row-Ch 2, 1 sl st in center, ch 1, sl st on both sides bringing both sides together.
Outside of Wire
1st Row-Tie thread at top, ch 3, 1 sl st all around.
2nd Row-Ch 3, 1 dc in loop of ch, 2 dc in same loop, ch 1, 1 dc in next loop, ch 1, 2 dc in next loop, ch 2, 2 dc in same loop, rep around.
3rd Row-Ch 3, 2 dc in the center of the 2 ch, ch 2, 3 dc in same place, ch 1, 3 dc in the 2 chs of next loop, ch 2, 3 dc in same place, rep around.
4th Row-Ch 5, 1 sl st under the 2 chs, ch 5, 1 sl st in same place, ch 5, 1 sl st bet next shell, rep around.
Band
1st Row-Ch 3, 1 sl st, ch 3, 1 sl st, ch 5, tn.
2nd Row-Ch 3, 1 sl st in each loop, ch 3, 1 sl st, ch 5, tn. Continue until length desired.
