(4 sc made) Rnd2: Sc in each st around, join with sl st in first sc, Leaving end for sewing, fasten off. Sew two Teeth 11/2” apart over bottom of mds 5 and 6 on Muzzle. Sew other two Teeth 1 1/2” apart over top of rnds 4 and 5 on Lower Jaw. TOE (make 6) Rnd 1: With green, ch 3, sl st in first ch to form ring, ch 1, 2 sc in each ch around. Leaving long end for gathering and sewing, fasten off. Weave end through ends of rows across straight edge, pull tight to gather until gathered edge measures about 4”. Sew Wings to back of Body above Tail BACK RIDGE Row 1: With amethyst, ch 5 (first 2 chs counts as first hdc), hdc in third ch from hook, sc in last 2 chs, tum. (4 sts made) Row 2: Ch 1, sc in first 2 sts, hdc in last 2 sts, tum. Row 3: Ch 2 (counts as first hdc), hdc in next st, sc in last 2 sts, tum. Rows 4-71 or until piece Is long enough to fit md 5 on front of Head to tip of Tail: Repeat rows 2 and 3 alternately. At end of last row, leaving long end for sewing, fasten off. Sew ends of rows on sc edge of piece from rnd 5 on front of Head across back to tip of Tail. For eyes, cut pieces from felt according to full-size pattern pieces. With pupil set downward (see photo), glue to front of eye white, glue back of eye white to eye back. Glue to Head about 5/8” apart above Muzzle. For nostrils, cut pieces from black felt according to full-size pattern piece. Glue to inside of each Nostril (see photo). For fingernails, cut pieces from gold felt according to full-size pattern piece. Glue end of each piece to. front of each Finger (see photo) .. For toenails, cut pieces from gold felt according to full-size pattern piece. Glue one toenail to top of each Toe (see photo»).
